But we already have a holiday in October, it’s called Halloween, and without Thanksgiving we’d have no holiday in November

And I don’t mean “banking holidays” like Veteran’s day, I mean holidays with strong tradition to observe or subvert (eg, Halloween - trick or treating, Thanksgiving - enduring cooking a feast/potlucking)
