Show HN: Open source IDE engine for custom front ends

Author here. Built this out of frustration with VS Code's server while trying to create a VR coding interface. Would love feedback on:

- The WebSocket protocol design for IDE features

- Approach to LSP integration/other extensions

- File synchronization using diffs

- Architecture decisions around backend/frontend separation

- Opinions on collaborative coding (multiple editors at the same time)

The goal is to make it easier for developers to build custom IDE interfaces without reinventing core functionality. I welcome any feedback!
