Meta loses ground to Bluesky as users abandon Elon Musk's X (www.ft.com)

By comparison X has around 250 million daily users: https://www.pcmag.com/news/elon-musk-x-twitter-growth-stalls....

Also from that article:

> X's daily active user growth has plummeted from roughly 30% annually just a few years ago in 2020 to less than 2% in 2024, according to new data from X

When nation states no longer see it as a propaganda platform it'll crater.

According to elon.

A non-trivial amount of Bluesky posts are people dunking on screen caps from X. For me these seem to be default follows/feed items since I've tried (unsuccessfully) to only follow interesting tech accounts and avoid "Did you see the dumb political thing person A said, here is my clever comeback".

It does not yet feel like it stands on its own yet until it moves past that.

On a related note if anyone else could recommend tech follow and/or political block lists, I'd love to see it. I've tried several so far.

This contains "starter packs" organised by technology.
